ABOUT OUR CENTRE
Assalam Alaykum dear brothers and sisters.
We are pleased to announce the official launch of an ISLAMIC CENTRE in Thurrock.
We are a newly formed community of lovers of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) from diversified backgrounds. We live within Thurrock, mostly around Grays, Basildon, South Ockendon and Orsett, however Al Hussainia Muslim Community of Thurrock has bought us all together as one under the umbrella of our brotherhood.
The inception of this organisation took place in December 2023 after a few brainstorming sessions of local intellect, social workers and religious scholars and professionals. It was mutually identified that Shia Ithna Asheri Muslims living in different areas of Thurrock needed a community which is formed on the basis of Islamic Principles rather than cultural, social or geographical backgrounds.
We will be hosting regular Quranic Madressa in a hired hall, but in sha Allah as the community grows, our need for space will also grow., which is why we need you to donate to our worthy cause. In sha Allah we will be able to (with the help of donations and loans) purchase a building to act as our new centre at a later stage.
It would be unique and one of its kind due to:
* The diversity of its members who belong to different cultures.
* Its vision to deliver different aspects of healthy communal services and promote religious awareness .
* Its mission to enable communities to promote the values of humanity through spiritual, social and material guidance.
* Its aim to create a harmonious balance between inter-faith and intra-faith communities
Our Islamic centre offers a wide variety of classes and programs for people of all levels of knowledge and experience. We have dedicated teachers who are knowledgeable in Qur’an, Fiqh, and Hadith, and they are passionate about sharing their knowledge with all who seek it. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can strengthen their connection to Allah and His Messenger (SAW).
